Bayville and Locust Valley Water Districts Interconnection vaults

Alessio Pipe performed the rehabilitation of two interconnection vaults for Bayville Water Department and Locust Valley Water District.

A challenging project consisting of maintenance and protection of traffic while removing 50” thick pavement on a NCDPW road. Restoration of asphalt road and restoration of concrete gutter-curbs and sidewalks were completed as required. Alessio Pipe installed custom pre-cast vaults, large water meters, gate-valves, sampling ports & blow-off assemblies, all while working in 10’ deep trenches utilizing trench-boxes and well-points for de-watering.
